Nar Phu Peak Expedition in Nepal

Our Charity has received this email regarding the Unclimbed Peak Expedition - would any one consider this to raise funds for ELY.  We don't have all the details, but if there is an interest, we would contact Brian Jackson.  

This is what they stated:-

Following the successful first ascents of 3 new mountains in Nepal in 2013, Expedition Wise would like to invite you to join the 2014 "Unclimbed Peak Expedition".

       Travel to the Lost Valleys of Nar Phu in Nepal to make a first ascent of NarPhu Peak (5,921m) in the Chulu range (shown in the photo ).

 Itinerary at a glance: (November 9th - 27th 2014)

 Day 1 - International Flight       

Day 2 - Arrive in Kathmandu late afternoon. Meet & transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel.

Day 3 - Kathmandu - obtain permits. Half day tour of Kathmandu. O/N Hotel.

Day 4 - Drive to Syange. O/N Camp

Day 5 - Drive and trek to Dharapani. O/N Camp

Day 6 - Trek to Koto 2,635m. 6-hrs trek. O/N Camp

Day 7 - Trek to Meta 3,540m. 8hrs trek. O/N Camp

Day 8 - Trek to Nar Village 4,100m. O/N Camp.

Day 9 - Exploration and rest day in Nar 4,100m. O/N Camp.

Day 10 - Trek to Kangla Phedi 4,530m.  O/N Camp.

Day 11 - Trek to Base Camp 5,357m via Kangla Pass 5,306m. O/N Camp

Day 12 - Rest Day and exploration of area 5,357m.  O/N Camp.

Day 13 - Acclimatisation climb of unclimbed/unnamed peaks on Chulu range. O/N Camp.

Day 14 - Rest day at 5,357m. O/N Camp

Day 15 - Summit Climb of NarPhu Peak 5,921m. O/N Camp.

Day 16 - Trek to Ngawal 3,676m. O/N Camp

Day 17 - Helicopter to Pokhara and plane to Kathmandu. O/N Hotel

Day 18 - Ministry of Tourism day in Kathmandu.  O/N Hotel

Day 19 - Transfer to airport for departure to UK.  Arrive UK.
