Dying 2 Drive initiative - Herefordshire and Ludlow College

This year the Dying 2 Drive initiative will be held at the Herefordshire and Ludlow College. All students and staff are invited to attend on Tuesday 27th March.

We will have the West Midlands Air Ambulance Pod to have a look around. See the poster below for all the details.

The day evolved starting with the emergency services arriving at the College to a stationary car and volunteer casualties who all acted as a scene of an accident when such an incident happens on our roads.   Over 20 minutes the students witnessed how the emergency services work together to release casualties.    Angela Tyler then spoke about losing her only child in her car accident nearly 8 years ago on the 30th September 2010.

We would personally like to thank Herefordshire & Ludlow College for supporting the charity to host the Dying 2 Drive event.  All the emergency services who helped and volunteered to support us, Hereford Police Cadets, Like Radio, Co-op Food, Funeralcare and Insurance, West Midlands Air Ambulance, IAM, DHL Transport Training, Safer Road Partnerships, Herefordshire Council Road Safety, 3D Driving Awareness  and the ELY Race Club.

Lastly to all the students and staff who supported ELY on the day.
