ELY CHARITY GOLF DAY - 22ND JULY 2017

We would like to thank all our supporters and golfers for making the ELY Charity Golf day, a day to remember!   We raised £3,230.00 for ELY!     We had many businesses supporting us on the day either by donating prizes or sponsorship of golf holes.   @StirlingofHereford offered 4 x  "Hole in One" prizes one being a Swift Suzuki SZ3, unfortunately no-one won, but Stuart Phillips hit the Pin!!  May be next year we will have a lucky winner.   Thanks to @Burghill Valley Golf Club for allowing ELY to host our event as well as Andy & James from the Pro Shop who helped with score cards and looked after our Thorne Widgery Golf Ladies who entered for the first time taking part in a golf competition.  They did extremely well - hopefully this has given you the golf bug for next years event.     Special thanks to Mal Tyler who sought raffle prizes, golf hole sponsors and teams for the event, without your help it would be a different day altogether.    Finally to the ELY girls who worked hard all day to make sure all our golfers new exactly what they were doing, selling raffle tickets etc, you did an amazing job!   Hopefully next year I may be able to play in the event, watch this space-  thank you all again truly a day to remember !   Ange & Steve x
