Proud to Support Local Youth Football Success

We are proud to support Hereford Lads Club U15 Phoenix as shirt sponsors during their impressive season so far, including the recent cup semi-final victory against Ludlow at the HFA County Ground.

Playing under the floodlights, the young side showed resilience, discipline and teamwork in a tightly contested first half before taking full control of the game. A well-taken goal just before half-time settled nerves, and the second half saw a confident, composed performance that reflected what has been a flawless season so far. Outstanding individual displays were matched by a strong collective effort, with the team now setting their sights on the final at Edgar Street.

Supporting local is a key part of The ELY Memorial Fund’s mission. By backing grassroots teams like Lads Club U15 Phoenix, we aim not only to help young people thrive through sport, but also to raise awareness of our message among younger generations — encouraging conversations around safer driving as this generation looks ahead to getting on the road.
