Pride of Herefordshire Awards Evening 16th October 2013

It is with great pride that Ange Tyler received the Courage Award at the Three Counties Hotel on Wednesday Evening.  The Courage Award was sponsored by Bengry Motors. Two very special friends wrote to the Journal about me, they are Victoria & Pat Rogers, (my Zumba instructor & her mum) who are proudly stood behind me in the attached photo.   My sister Marie Watkin, hubby Steve, and dear friend Jane Newman accompanied me for the evening.  I was so nervous, I did not expect to win, because there were two other people nominated for the Award, Claire Davies & Jordan Gilbert, both of whom are amazing people in my eyes and deservedly recognised for their courage too.   When my name was read out, I was so shocked! With emotions running high I had to go and collect my Award, a sculpted piece of steel on a stone plinth!  I truly realise just how much people care for us and I will never forget this special moment in our lifes all in memory of our dear Daughter Emma.   Amazing evening!  Photos of the evening will be in the Journal next week.  Best wishes Ange
