Charity Event - 9th Feb 2013 in High Town, Hereford

The Charity event on Saturday was a great success.  We raised £682 in total from the car competition to guess how many balloons were in the Toyota Yaris (Em's Nan's car) and the sale of the new light blue wristbands and the glow in the dark wristbands.  There was 276 balloons in the car.  The lucky winner of the Pizza Hut voucher was Carol Preece guessing 275 and the A-Plan voucher was Kirsty Smith guessing 273.   We had entertainment from DJ Mauds, Dynamix_Dance and Body Language along with our professional photographer James Tobin.     We would like to say a huge "thankyou" to all the public who donated on the day and took time to chat to Ellen Watkins, Solicitor about making a Will, A-Plan for car Insurance and Dawe Brothers Funeral Undertakers for funeral planning.    Without everyone's support we would not of raised the wonderful amount towards the ELY Memorial Fund, which will help families in Herefordshire to provide a one-off payment towards funeral costs if they should lose a son or daughter from a tragic car accident between the age 17 to 25.    For photos of the day please go to the Fundraising page, thank you Ange
